FinTech Central Poland had the pleasure to take part in a business meeting with Taiwanese investors hosted at Lodz University of Technology. The event created a valuable space for international dialogue, knowledge sharing and discussion about the future of technology, finance and innovation.
The meeting brought together representatives of academia, business, public institutions, technology organizations and the Taiwanese delegation. Its agenda included presentations about Lodz University of Technology, the Information Technology Center, the investment potential of Łódź and the region, the Lodz ICT Cluster, as well as the activities of FinTech Central Poland. During the event, FinTech Central Poland was represented by Adam Federowicz and Michał Wojtasiak, who joined the meeting as speakers. In their presentation, they introduced the mission and activities of FCP, with a focus on building a strong fintech ecosystem in Łódź and Central Poland.
They explained how FinTech Central Poland supports innovation in the financial sector, connects companies, experts, investors and institutions, and helps create a space for cooperation between technology, business and public partners. The presentation also referred to FCP’s key areas of activity, including education, meetups, postgraduate FinTech studies, scholarships, hackathons, conferences, consulting, program committees and trade missions. A key message of the presentation was that FinTech Central Poland is not only a foundation, but also a community. It brings together people and organizations who want to exchange experience, promote practical solutions for FinTech and BankTech, support each other and increase the visibility of Łódź as an important innovation hub.
One of the most valuable parts of the meeting was the open discussion after the presentation. Together with the guests from Taiwan, participants discussed topics that are highly relevant for the future of financial technology: security, stablecoins and practical solutions for the fintech sector.
The conversation showed that security remains one of the most important foundations for further growth of digital finance. Participants exchanged perspectives on trust, risk management, digital identity, secure financial services and the role of technology in protecting users and organizations. Stablecoins were also an important part of the discussion. This topic opened a broader conversation about digital payments, blockchain-based solutions, regulation and the possible future role of new financial instruments in cross-border cooperation and modern financial services.
The discussion also covered practical fintech solutions that can support companies, institutions and citizens. For FCP, this is exactly the type of dialogue that creates real value: connecting international experience with local knowledge, and turning ideas into possible cooperation opportunities. We would like to thank the organizers and partners of the meeting: Lodz University of Technology, Polish-Taiwanese Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Invest in Łódź and Lodz ICT Cluster. Thank you for creating a professional and open space for discussion, networking and international cooperation.
We also sincerely thank the Taiwanese delegation for their presence, openness, inspiring questions and willingness to exchange perspectives with the Łódź innovation ecosystem.

For FinTech Central Poland, this meeting was another important step in strengthening international relationships and promoting Łódź as a place where technology, finance, business and academic knowledge can meet. We believe that such initiatives help build bridges between innovation ecosystems and create new opportunities for future cooperation.
